My own personal journey to health and wellbeing factors greatly into my practice and how I guide patients. I struggled with candida, gluten allergies and leaky gut years before anyone was talking about these issues.
As far back as 1985, I started to experience symptoms related to eating too much sugar, wheat and processed foods, so I understand from personal experience what patients may be experiencing. Many times, I just wanted to give up on my search for a solution. It was frustrating and confusing, to say the least.
My quest to understand the intricate workings of the body, mind and spirit has taken me in many directions and to many different and varied philosophies. I have a diverse educational and training background. I have studied the work of Hanna Kroeger, Hulda Clark, Deepak Chopra, Vasant Lad, Richard Tan, Abraham-Hicks, Carolyn Myss and so many others.
I have a B.A. in Psychology, Masters in Oriental Medicine, a certification in Whole Food Nutrition, I am an Intuitive Reiki Master, Psychic Intuitive/Medium, and am a Doctor of Acupuncture.
